Spectrum Sound and Light was established in 2006 as a private venture by Target Group. The aim of this venture was to develop a company with distinct market leadership in the emerging field of professional light and sound integration. Initially, the company drew on the experiences of its partners and the sister companies within Target Group in order to gain market access to client databases, project experience, and technical prowess. This aligned combination allowed it in a short time to quickly establish itself as a leading provider of professional integration systems in Jordan with a solid reputation for innovation and excellence. The resulting success, allowed Spectrum to establish key partnerships with some of the most reputable suppliers of audio and lighting solutions in the world. This dual approach to business has allowed the organization to develop a continuous learning loop that builds on capabilities we feel that are unavailable in many other companies. These capabilities and the services generated from them constitute a unique offerings that could be categorized as follows:
• Retail & Vendor Supply Chain Management
•Marketing, Distribution and Retail Sales Management
• Customer Service & Maintenance Management Systems

• Multi-Product & System integration & automation services.
Partnership is strength
It is our belief that our partners' requirements are our first responsibility. Their ensuing needs must be serviced efficiently, promptly, and accurately. The tasks undertaken by us must be done thoroughly and to the highest quality. When undertaking the process of designing our product offerings, we make sure that our decisions afford our partners the opportunity to make a fair profit.
Ours is a people businessEach and every one of our employees must be considered their own individual and as such we must respect their dignity and acknowledge their merits. They must feel a sense of security in their employment. The compensation that is afforded to them must be fair and adequate and the working environment must be clean, safe, and orderly. We must be mindful of the impact of their profession on their private life and we must allow our employees to fulfill their family responsibilities. There must be an equal opportunity for employment, development (personal and professional) and advancement for all and the qualification must be based on merit. Each Employee should feel free to make suggestions and complaints. We must make sure that the responsible managers and their teams are competent and that the actions they undertake are just, fair and ethical.
A pledge to the communityOur third responsibility is towards our communities. The impact we exert through the undertakings of our professional tasks should be mindful of our impact on society as a whole. As such we must strive to be good citizens and take collective responsibility for our actions in order to encourage civic improvement and cultural understanding. We must maintain in good order the properties we are privileged to use and we must take care to protect the environment and its natural resources.
A business for the futureOur fourth responsibility is towards the business itself. For the business to be successful, the business must make a sound and sustainable profit and adequate reserves must be allocated as a contingency for tough times. Sustaining these long terms objectives, requires the business managers to always advance and experiment with new ideas. Conduct Research and Development initiatives through innovation programs that directly impact the business performance as a whole. Investments into new equipment and facilities must be made and allocated for, in order allow the business to develop, grow and launch new products and services.
It is our belief that by designing our business to operate according to these guiding principles; the business will be able to grow and exist sustainably and profitably for the long term and its stakeholders should be able to realize a fair return on their investments.
The first responsibility of business is to make enough profit to cover the costs for the future. If this social responsibility is not met, no other social responsibility can be met.

The Practice of Management
Professionalism
We hold that each and every one of us must act in a professional manner that reflects our commitment to a business standard that exemplifies a never ending pursuit to be simply perfect.
Leadership
To be true professionals, one must be able to assume leadership. To that end we expect our employees to lead by example, to take responsibility for the actions and tasks they undertake and show ownership towards the business as a whole. Ethics: leaders are innately endowed with a strict code of conduct. This code can best be identified as a set of ethical values we expect each and every one of our employees to abide by. Which is that they conduct each and every interaction of their lives with a level of honesty, integrity, respect and humbleness.
Continuous Improvement
Having identified the set of principals that allow professional leaders to excel, it must be realized that for such individuals to develop, existing norms must always be challenged. As such we encourage all of our employees to contradict and question the underlying business fundamentals and experiment with new ideas and approaches. Thus creating in the process a business culture that is continually improving and developing itself.
Individuals
While we understand that for the business to succeed we must all work as team. We do as well appreciate that this team approach depends very much on the on its individual components. That’s why each of the individuals who make up our family of employees must be afforded dignity and respect they deserve and they must be supported to develop them both personally and professionally.
Environment
We are creatures that are very much influenced by our environment and how we choose to engage with our environment will greatly affect who we are and what our future unfolds. The same holds true for the business environment. The environment we work in must be safe, healthy and clean. Thus allowing our employee to work and develop with a clear mindset. As well we should be mindful to make sure that the products and services we provide do not do damage to environment of our communities. As this creates a more sustainable business setting that allows us to assume a higher moral standing.
